CUBE LAW HUBLA

  1. No one can express HATE on or around The Voice Box Project at anytime.
  2. No artwork can be removed from the cube at any time. Work can be manipulated, moved, and covered up to build the Voice Box sculpture. No artwork can be applied to or placed on the top of the Voice Box; that space is reserved for digital media only.
  3. Contact Max at maxmontrose@gmail.com if you would like to upload digital media.

How to interact with the Cube

This is not an art piece by an artist; it's the community's piece. Instead of going to a gallery to view art, you go to this gallery to create art "in your own way."

If you're a poet you can write poetry on The Cube or do spoken word opening night with a Mic. Artists can paint on it. Wood workers can carve into it, others can attach magnets, posters, sculptures, stickers, electronics, graffiti, airbrush, crayons, chalk, pencil, Etch-A-Sketch, mono type, antaglio, what ever you can think of!!! People will be able to upload digital media to the top of the cube via projector that we might make available to the Internet so it can become a global community art project. Opening night live music will be provided, giving the atmosphere auditory artistic expression.

Important Disclaimers

Everyone is encouraged to participate. People should bring their own artwork to put on the cube and or art supplies to apply to the cube. Some supplies will be provided. Old or extra art supplies will be gladly taken as a donation to The Voice Box Project.

Don't add anything to the Cube you have an attachment to because you will not be getting it back. Think of Christo and Jeanne-Claude who spend 10 years on their art projects that last only a week. Or every serious graffiti artist who risks their freedom and hours of time on a piece when they know the city will cover it up. Art is life, always in motion.
